We receive many questions as to how fans can contact Christopher. As a general reminder, Christopher does not visit or participate in comments or message boards on any fan site (or internet website for that matter). If you see someone claiming to be Christopher, it is not him (unless officially confirmed in very rare circumstances, such as his participation in Random Buzzers). The best way to reach Christopher is through his official fan mail address. We have this address along with a helpful guide on the best way to write to Christopher, all located after the jump!
Christopher really enjoys hearing from his readers and tries to answer every letter. He gets lots of letters which the folks at Random House send in batches, so it may take some time, but you will get a reply.
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- He may not be able to answer all of the questions you put in your letter, so consider including only your most important questions.
- If possible, enclose a stamped, self-addressed business envelope.
- Make sure your name and return address are written clearly on the letter. Christopher can’t send you a reply if there’s no return address or only an address that he can’t read.
- Write to Christopher at this address:
c/o Random House Children’s Books
1745 Broadway, 9th Floor
New York, NY 10019
Please note that Christopher does not give out his e-mail address. Also, because of the many demands on his time, he regrets that he cannot read your manuscripts or offer personal advice on your writing projects.
For a signed book, please contact the store below. Christopher periodically visits it to personalize and autograph his books, which are then shipped to customers.
