Agaetí Blödhren

The Agaetí Blödhren, or the "Blood-oath Celebration," is an elvish celebration that happens every 100 years. It celebrates the elves pact with the dragons. In Eldest, Eragon participates in the Agaetí Blödhren, including activities such as writing a poem for the Blood-oath Celebration, and joining in the festivities.
It is also during this time that the dragons complete his transformation into a shur'tugal, much similar to the half-elves of many fantasy stories. During the transformation all scars are removed and all wounds cured, including the cursed one dealt to him by Durza.
