This was a major battle scene in Eragon. This is where Durza was killed by Eragon with the help of Arya and Saphira, which gave Eragon his the title "Shadeslayer" This was accomplished by the fact that Arya rode Saphira to the dragonhold to get off her armor which had been dented so it was hard for her to breathe. Then Eragon told Saphira mentally that Durza was in Tronjheim. Then by the time Saphira's armor was off it was to late to fly down there But below them was Isidar Mithrim "Star Sapphire." Then below that was the room where Eragon was fighting Durza to the best of his abilities. So Arya, using her magic, breaks Isidar Mithrim and holds all the pieces in the air so Eragon wouldn't be injured. While this was happening it distracted Durza so Eragon shouts "Brisingr!" Then plunges his sword into Durza's heart. But when Arya and Saphira broke through Isidar Mithrim he noticed that Saphira was breathing fire. But before Eragon could kill Durza he cut open Eragon's back, giving him a cursed wound. A sudden flow of images go through his mind images of Durza's, and Carsaib's, life. Then Togira Ikonoko, "The cripple who is whole" speaks to him mentally and says to follow Arya and go to him in Ellesmera, the city of the elves.
