Feldûnost

Feldûnosts are scraggly animals similar to the mountain goats in the Spine but about a third larger with giant horns that curl around their cheeks. Feldûnosts are one of the five animals unique to the Beor Mountains. The dwarves depend on the Feldûnosts for milk, wool, and meat. Feldunosts are hardly, sure footed, and can jump great distances. The dwarves often ride them in the mountains for they are better suited for climbing cliffs than open plains. Also the feldunost are very intelligent.
