Garrett Hedlund was born in Roseau, Minnesota. In his early years, he grew up on a farm. Later on, he moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, where he began his private acting lessons. After graduating from Horizon highschool, he immediatly moved to Los Angeles, for his acting career. After only one month, he landed a role in Troy,playing Patricles, Achille's cousin. His next feature was Friday Night Lights, and then Four Brothers, starring alongside Mark Wahlberg.
