Rules

1. All content must be appropriate for persons of all ages. In other words, no swearing (unless its in a quote from one of the books), no flaming, no sexual content, etc. This also includes the username you select.
1B. Swearing excludes the words "damn" and "sucks" in certain cases. These words are not allowed to be used in article titles or headers for any article, but may be used in discussions on user talk pages in the proper context. They may not be used about people. The moderators will decide if they are used inappropriately.
2. All content added must be relevant to the Inheritance Cycle. Don't link to offsite pages that have nothing to do with Inheritance, don't make new entries for non-Inheritance subjects, and absolutely no spam.
2B. NO ADVERTISING. If you are linking to a Inheritance fansite, it must pertain to the subject matter, and you should link to the particular pages. No links to site indexes for no reason on a page, same for forums. You may not put a link to a site not used in the article in the references section, any outside links must go in a section titled 'External Links'. While we welcome linking to related material, it must be done without advertising.
3. All entries must use proper formatting, including proper tags, citations, etc.
3B. Please note that this also stands for copying information from other sites. This is NOT ALLOWED. Please note that if you copy information from another site it will be deleted even once the information is altered for the sake of being certain.
3C. Proper formatting includes proper grammar and spelling. This isn't a chat room, so chat speak is not allowed. Anything that doesn't have proper grammar, spelling, or has chat speak is liable for deletion without notice. In some special cases a warning will be given out.
4. All content must be unbiased. This is an Encyclopedia, not a treatise on your personal opinion about certain characters.
5. Any and all content deemed to have a harmful purpose will be deleted without notification. No bashing, flaming, insulting, or other harmful content is not allowed.
6. Moderators have final say over what can and cannot be posted on this site and are not subject to change, unless the Editor in Chief, Allie 2, or another senior staff member from Shur'tugal over ride them. See the ban information section below for the banning rules. All unacceptable alterations will be rolled-back by a moderator.

Ban Information:

Warnings: Warnings will be given to those who have commited minor offences. Warnings will come in the form of a 5-12 hour ban from the site. A second warning will result in a 24-36 hour ban from the site. A third warning will result in a ban ranging anywhere from 72 hours up to and even beyond in some extreme cases 1 week.

Bans: For any offence that is not minor, if it be the first or fifth, a ban ranging from 72 hours up to and even beyond in some cases, 1 week. These will be delivered without warning and will not be revoked or changed unless the Editor in Chief, Allie 2, or another senior staff member from Shur'tugal say so.

Spammers: All spammers will be given an infinite block without warning and will not be revoked under any circumstances.
