Quote from Shurtugal.com:
As the first ancient-language word that Eragon learns, it has held particular significance for his legacy as a Dragon Rider. In this new book, it will be revealed to be even more meaningful than even Eragon could have known."
I just thought of what this could mean... what if Brisingr is Eragon's true name? *le gasp* Wouldn't that be cool?
Gah! and there is to be a midnight release!!!! I hope that there is one in my town, I'll force my mom to go, and then I will stay up all night and read it.
This is so exciting!!!! --I Believe 23:20, 16 January 2008 (UTC) P.S. Murtagh had better not die, or I will personally track down CP and deliver him a rant the size of Eurasia.

Lol, you are so right, he better not die. I think, however, that Durza told Eragon his true name just before he died under Farthurn Dur (Did i spell that right?). Of course, he could've been lying. -Heir of Eragon

But what did Durza tell him? I forget... *Goes to consult the Book of Eragon* --I Believe 19:20, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

I don't remember, but I might get my copy of the book out too and search through for that part in the book...

Nevermind, it wasn't durza who told Eragon his true name, but it was Brom. Page 298 in Eragon states Eragon's true name is Du Sundavar Freohr, also known as, "death of the shadows". so, his true name is not Brisingr. -Heir

Heir, wasn't that claim a made up fact by Eragon himself, in order to confuse/scare Durza.... -Jennifer

Oh god, you so know that Brisingr's someone's real name... whether it's Eragon's or greeny's... - Cate

Idk Jen, like I said, I can't remember much. And I cant go back and read it again right now cause i already have 17 books on my books-to-read list, not including Brisingr. that'll go on the top of my list when i buy it. -Heir

Jen's right. I just looked it up. -Jamie

Alright, so Brisingr may be his true name, and Brom's last seven words may have been: "Your true name is the almighty, "Brisingr". Which brings us back to even more theories. lol. -Heir

That's pretty good. But about the Durza thing, he said something, but Eragon could only see his lips moving, not hear. --I Believe
