Quick Question: What's the difference in the Opinion tag and the Theory tag? They both basically mean the same thing, only the word "opinion isn't as specific as "theory". Is there a way we can mix the two? And if we do, I'll go around and change all the pages with the opinion/theory tags & stuff. -Heir of Eragon

As far as I'm aware, Theories are ideas with enough support to back them up, and opinions are more gut feelings, or maybe one little point that could be construed as support. Admittedly, the majority of stuff posted under theories is opinions, but there's enough of theories in there to warrant a theories tag... although, unless a user had a treatise on their user page or talk page, that would probably be considered opinion. No problem, and thx to you too. This page can be deleted if no one else has anymore comments. -Heir
