Me!
My favorite topic. (just KIDDING!) Some amazing facts about me are that I am human, I am mortal (fortunately), I speak, read, and write English quite well, and I have read the Inheritance Cycle! Shocking, no? Some other, less-important facts are that I'm female, an American (and rather proud of it, I might add), and an obsessive Lord of the Rings fangirl.
Me in Other Places
- On Wikipedia - In addition to editing PIE, I edit Wikipedia under the same name (Alinnisawest, in case you missed it). My interests there are more geared towards DragonFable and suchlike, however, although I've done a bit of work on some articles relating to Christianity as well.
- On Shur'tugal Fan Fiction - Ahh, good ol' SFF! I write some fanfiction for SFF, including "Ending", my Book Three (just can't bring myself to call it Brisingr) fic. I am also a moderator there under the penname swenson.
- Elsewhere - Again under the name swenson, I'm involved in the Battleon Forums for the Artix Entertainment games AdventureQuest, DragonFable, MechQuest, and, most recently, AdventureQuest Worlds, which is a fantastic new MMO written in Flash that (wait for it) runs in dial-up with little to no lag!!! That is why I love Artix Entertainment!
Me in Real Life
Yes, the dreaded Real Life! In real life, my interests are incredibly varied, ranging from anime and manga (with my current favorites being DNAngel and Deathnote) to canoeing and hiking. Other than Eragon fanfiction, I do write a great deal, some poems and some original fiction.

Favorite/Least Favorite Characters
I really, really dislike Arya, the inconstant elf that everyone either adores or despises. I really, really like Angela (insane herbalists rock!) and the werecats, as well as Saphira.
My Ships
I used to be a straight canon shipper- Eragon/Arya, Nasuada/Murtagh, Greeni/Saphira, and Roran/Katrina. Now, however, I've changed quite a bit. I now am a rabid Murtrina (Murtagh/Katrina) shipper, as well as a Thorn/Saphira and an Orrin/Nasuada shipper. I would prefer for both Arya and Eragon to end up without anyone, after a brief romance, just to satisfy Angela's prophecy. Really, my only canon ship left is Orik/Hvedra, which is kind of guaranteed.
What I Want to Happen
In my version of the book, I would kill off Islanzadi, to create even more of a gap between Arya and Eragon. (Also, at last that snotty elf would have to face her duties and inheritance.) That would fulfill the spoiler about someone important dying. I also do not want Orik to become king, because he's far too liberal for the other dwarf chieftains' likes. If Az Sweldn rak Anhûin started a civil war, I would be beside myself with glee.
I also do not want Faolin to have been Arya's lover. Just... no. I have my own theory about their relationship, but I'll refrain from getting into it now. It hasn't come up in my fanfic, you see, and I'd rather not give away some major spoilers.
What I Don't Want to Happen
I really don't want to see a nice, everybody-is-happy-and-all-the-canon-ships-come-true ending. I want at least a few mixed-up romances. Eragon/Arya I will only be able to stand if most of the other relationships get mixed up. I also am steadily growing to dislike Roran/Katrina. It's just too "perfect".
