MapleStory

While our own Timmay is addicted to Bawls, Allie2 has shown a distinct attachment to a game known as MapleStory, where people from around the world masquerade as miniature, copyright-infringing warriors. There is no question that it can be considered an advanced addiction--it has even begun to addle her brains. Just last night, while on the in-game instant message system, Allie2 admitted to typing sappy poetry as a means of communication, and later passed it of as the lateness of the hour. This claim will undoubtedly need to be investigated for the sake of Allie2's sanity. Which is questionable to begin with, might I add. o_0

MapleStory comes in waves of addiction, and I really have never been able to completely let it go. >.< It truly is an addiction...

Role-Playing Games

I enjoy quite a lot playing RPGs. I care not if they are computer simulated RPGs or if they're real life ones. My favorites are D&D and various LARPs.

D&D

As I'm sure most of you know, D&D stands for Dungeons and Dragons. I first started at my old camp. That's where I learned not to follow certain people into bars where the crazy members of the group would decide to launch at fireball at a goblin and subsequently blow the walls out and cause the roof to collapse on us, only leaving two alive. One jumped out of a window in time because she was smart and the other had godly HP and def. Neither were me, unfortunately. But someone that was in a different place in the town was able to bring us back to life. And the fireball guy didn't mean for that to happen- I don't like taking my chances anymore though.

LARP

LARP stands for Live Action Roll Playing. I'm currently in an FMA (Fullmetal Alchemist) based LARP- it's soooo much fun. We're all Alchemists, and I'm the oldest character- 22. So I'm suck going around with 16-18 year old girls, two guys who pretty much just like killing and blowing things up-- oh, and there are about five of those girls. I'm the only level headed person in the group. It gets a bit loud at times... But it is hilariously fun. :)

Role-Playing Game Manifesto

- These rules are written on paper, not etched in stone tablets

- Rules are suggested guidelines, not required edicts

- If the rules don't say you can't do something, you can

- There are no official answers, only official opinions

- When dice conflict with the story, the story always wins

- Min/Maxing and munchkinism aren't problems with the game; they're problems with the player

- The Game Master has full discretionary power over the game

- The Game Master always works with, not against, the players

- A game that is not fun is no longer a game-- it's a chore

- The books contain the answers to all things

- When the above does not apply, make it up

I love this thing, it contradicts its self and is hilarious.

LiveJournal RP

Econtra RPG. It has taken over my life. It's one of the funnest things I've ever done. Come join us!

Video Games

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA. I've beaten Twilight Princess, The Windwaker and Four Swords, both being for the Game Cube. Still working on Season, Ages, The Minish Cap, and A Link to the Past. All but A Link to the Past are for Game Boy Advanced or Color. A Link to the Past is on our Super Famicon. Still working on beating all of my Fire Emblem games. Have Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones for Game Boy Advanced and Fire Emblem: Path of Radience for Game Cube. Some other games for Game Cube include Mario Kart: Double Dash!, Animal Crossing, Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Party 4, Mario Party 5, Super Smash Brothers Melee, Star Wars: Rouge Leader(2?), Sonic Adventure Two Battle, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, and many more. For Super Famicon I also have Super Mario World. On the Famicon I have Duck Hunt. Computer games consist of Knights of the Old Republic, Knights of the Old Republic 2, and Star Wars: Battlefront 2. I love my games.

Super Smash Brothers Melee

Most people don't know this and won't believe it, but Princess Peach owns if you can use her right. Use C stick moves to attack, and her Y glide and B up umbrella to recover when you're hit far. It's a nice combo. Down C works best. Ger you between your enemy and the edge and use down C on them. They fly off the edge. ^.~ Most people will claim that they can own anyone using Peach. *sigh* Us Peach Pros are a rare group of people, so don't say that until you've beaten one of the Peach Pros. But you'll say that anyway, I've learned to give up trying to convince people this way. The only way that works is when you actually beat them...

Famicon and Super Famicon

Famicon is the Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Famicon is the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It's the name that the systems came out with when they were released in Japan, and it's a lot easier to type out.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2

The Stormtrooper or Clone Trooper class is my favorite. The Blaster Riffle pwns with me. My bro always says that they suck, but I'm good with 'em. And no matter what people say, the Blaster Riffle is good for head shots. It's acurate and has a good enough hit power that two clicks is a kill. Depending on the acuracy, sometimes only one click is needed. I like using them more than Jedi or other classes usually... But Shock Troopers and their parallel class are the best for destorying things like tanks or other objectives. Even though they're slow and clumsy...

Fire Emblem

Fire Emblem and all the games in the series are complete and total strategy games. You have people who have their own weapons and your enemies and everyone is on a grid and you move your people around and strategize through each level to complete the objective. Some people just level up a couple of people and send those power houses out there to jsut destroy everyone and it really doesn't take much strategy to do, but I am completely incapable of doing that because it just makes my mind scream "NO!" to go out there without some strategy. So I'll take at least half an hour switching my people around and planning in advance. And then it takes me a long time play the level because I just have to plan every single move out as carefully as I can. My brother calls me a complete strategy freak. He just happens to be a person who sends the power houses out onto the field to destory everything.

Kingdom Hearts 2

Okay, I admit, I have memorized the order of the members of Organization 13 and their titles. For example Xemnas is #1 and his title is "The Superior". I also can quote portions of the game. I was helping my friend beat this one part and there was a large cut scene and I was talking along with the characters until she hit my leg and told me to stop. So then I just talked back at the game. My friend repeated her previous tactic and I shut up. But I was pretty seriously obsessed. I'm not as much now. I even beat Sephiroth too. That was fun. My brother told me to try it now that we were about level 82 and so I did and I told him "You know that there's still absolutely no way we can win, right?" And of course I did win. >.<

The Section Where We Stop Hating

"Allie 2 rocks because she is the only one with the Power of the Table." -Lindsey

Wow, she actually begged for a page...sorry, Allie, I tried. :P Part where we stop hating, eh? Hm, well, I'll say this--she's fun to rant with, on tea, dimes, anything, because she'll definitely listen to it (and then use it to blackmail you later--haha, just kidding...maybe). She'll cheer you up with a bunch of those inane rants, too. Mm, and let us not forget the late-night poetry sap and Leap of Death. My knees can tell you all about that last one. Love ya, Allie! -Katy

"Wow....I mean really, learning the entire wiki code in under 24 hours shows one of two things. Either she loves her job and is teh awesome at it, or she has WAYYYYYY tooo much free time. Either way, nice....nice...." -Tim

"I love Allie because she's secret agent 002. I love her because she's like totally hard-working, insane, and dude, she's a genius (view above for more information), and like, dude, I'm so totally high! And she can make peach cobbler. Which also means she's going to mail me some so I can get it like, a week a later. Dude..." -Aldebaran

"Wow, obsessed with Maple Story, learing the entire wiki code in two hours, making peach cobbler...Allie2 is definitely teh multitasker!" -Sophia

"I can always count on you to help me out with PIE stuff...and to yell at me to go to bed and not to overexert myself. Thanks! (No, not sarcasm)" -Jamie

"Who else has the time and patience to edit my highly non-gramatical PIE articles several times, and not go crazy." -Tony

"I thought I should just mention the fact that your our Supreme Being or whatever. So, you know, we bow down before you and all that. That and you're a great editor. You fully don't yell at me even when I'm late getting articles up." -Cate
