Not good! I need another 900 or so views to catch up. And I only have a few weeks left! :-( I'm not sure what to do. My last effort will be on the World of Warcraft forums--I know at least one reputable player that can get me several hundred hits. I only hope it will be enough... -Kabaka

Some employee of WiQuest that gets to play with the prizes anyway. He doesn't look like the type that needs a gaming machine. He made some painfully cheesy video giving ten examples of uses of USB cables, like tying your shoes or tying up hair. He made a neat looking USB cable snake, though. Don't watch it (that hurts my chances of winning :-P). -Kabaka

Take a look at my page, that's what I came up with, the views on my page have been rapidly increasing, so this might help, I just hope I don't get in trouble for advertising lol. -Elfbob

And I doubt you'd get in trouble for that sort of thing. I glanced over the rules, and there wasn't anything explicitly against that sort of thing. Yes, well. I know it was yours. The link was on my page for weeks before this happened. Yet I know mine contributed some, since 780 views have come from here but I've only received about 520 since you put yours up. But 520 is a lot! I hope it keeps up like this! Well it was the forums and me, I added like 300 views last night, I had already refreshed your video page as much as I could on this computer, so I asked my mom last night if I could refresh on her laptop and her iPod touch, so now I think I'm going to go to some friends houses and refresh there too. :) -Elfbob

Some of it might also have been from my User Page, I gained almost 200 views last night. -Elfbob

I just got back from Oklacon (and a shower). And holy crap, I'm winning. Apparently the guy that was in the lead threw a fit. Oh, and I was going to post the video on Friday. I was at Oklacon on Friday, and there is no Internet access. There's not even cell service out there. So it was all you. Thanks a ton! But there is still an issue. WiQuest lost their investors and might cease to exist very, very soon. So it might all be a lost cause. We can only hope. -Kabaka

It was great! My first furry con ever. I still smell like campfire smoke. And sleeping in 28 degrees (Fahrenheit) was absolutely awful. But it was amazing! Definitely worth going to--I already registered for next year's con, and I'll probably hunt down a few others to attend before then. Now I've just got to go through 1,500 photos and 2 hours of video... Ahh.. so depressing. Oh, another thing worth mentioning: Jeff Goode (rhymes with food) was the guest of honor! His stuff is amazing, and he's freakin' hilarious! I could go on about this for a few pages, but I'll save it for my blog. I have a lot of photo editing and sorting to do before I pass out from utter exhaustion. -Kabaka

That page is old, full of typos, and not written in the style I now prefer. I read it a few weeks ago and almost deleted it. There were three typographical errors in that section; I fixed them. But I already see others. I'll get to that page eventually. It's going to get total re-write. -Kabaka

VacantMinded is kind of stuck in the mud for now. The developer of my control panel and back-end system that controls my network decided to stop working on the project but keep pretending he's about to make a huge breakthrough. So I'm stuck using a system I can't take anywhere. I'll only be able to grow if I can automate most of it because of how busy I am with school. As for the competitor, my father told me about what my stepmother had heard at work. He's upset because I'm ahead is what it comes down to. That, and I guess he thinks that the rules were bent in my favor just because the person running the competition is my stepmother. The time limit for the video is 3 minute for external entries, but she told me that employee and relative entries can be any length. Nevertheless, I'm ahead. So bah. -Kabaka

It ends.. uh.. Well, sometime soon. The fifth of December is the date on which the contest technically ends. I'm not sure about the internal contest, though. And I have no idea what will happen if WiQuest disappears. Oh, and about the Yahoo! Live thing.. I'm back on there now. I plan on spending more time sitting around on there, so you've got a better chance of seeing me on now. And I do have a video from Oklacon up. I've got more to upload, though. Unfortunately, the only videos I *can* upload are videos from that campfire with the fireballs. The rest are, uh, not appropriate for family viewing. -Kabaka

Well, I just mean like... AOL Instant Messenger or Yahoo! Messenger or something like that. The age restrictions on those are usually just 13 years of age / parental consent. Then it's just like texting, but without the phone and huge delay. :-P It's much more efficient that chatting on a wiki page, too. -Kabaka
