Hi, I'm Cate, and I love Tamora Pierce's books too : ). Next time you have a question, don't be scared to ask us mods, it's what we're here to do. In case you still need help posting images, first, what you need to do first is upload them.

Click on 'Upload file', a link on the left-hand side of your page, under the header 'toolbox'. You'll then need to click 'Browse' and search for the file within your own documents. Select it as you would normally, and the file name and path will appear in the first textbox. The files must be one the file formats listed.

Enter a destination filename in the second textbox, what you would like your file to be called on the wiki. Anything that fits will do.

Click Upload File, and the file will be automatically uploaded from your computer to the wiki.

To use the file on a page:

Type a link in the form [[Image:file.jpg]], [[Image:file.png|alt text]] or [[Media:file.ogg]] to directly link the file. :Ex. 'Roran's_deed.jpg' would be linked as [[image:roran's_deed.jpg|center|100px]], and appears as:

Book talk!

Hi, it's hawkeye8, or hawk! I just read your two stories. I can't tell if it's because you don't understand the formatting or not, but the fact that there is a run-on paragraph annoys me. When you finish a paragraph and want to do a new one, press enter twice. You should always preview to see if it looks right, also. If you want to do the diffrent sections when you type on your user page, tpye two equal signs (=) on either side of the header. If you want a section-in-a-section, type three. For the chart in the corner, you can open up the edit for my page and copy it and paste it in the top of your user page. Just make sure to change the text in it. I can make your page for you if you want me to. Back to your stories. Besides the lack of paragraphs, they seem to go a little fast. I have that problem, too. Describe stuff more so people have an idea on what's going on. Even without the fangirl section on the bottom, I could tell that you're an anime freak like me. I try not to use Japanese names if I can, but if you read my user page, Haru totally goes against that...-hawkeye8 or hawk

I'm a writer too, and I've already written 4 novels. The 4 books are of a 5-book series...one book is already copyrighted and I'm still looking for a publisher. I'm also working on a second series of books, and i'm in the middle of the first book of the second series, which i'll make a trilogy. My books are sci-fi, action/adventure, that kinda stuff. I put long the first 4 chapters of the one i'm working on on my talk page...and my copyrighted one is REALLY long so once I get the password to my freewebs thing again i'll make a page for my book. -Heir of Eragon.

Finding publishers is evil-ly hard. And I understand about your teachers stealing your writing. I let my English teacher read a copy of my prologue and first three chapters towards the begining of the year, and he gave it to me on the last day of school>-<! I had to nag him constantly about it to have him read it, so you should do that. If you have any kids in your group of friends/school who are also writers, have them read your stuff, too. If they like the same things you do, they'd pick up on things that you took from other places. My friend (who writes really well) came up to me and pointed out that I used the "It is customary to give one's on name before asking for someone esle's" line from Naruto. That' 'cause I was watching the DVDs when I was writing that scene XD!-hawk

Uh...you took my "copy and paste" thing a little too literally. You can edit the text and delete the picture in there. I could do it for you if you want, and you can respond here instead of opening up a new subject in my talk page. Press "edit" and that should work.-hawk

I love Dragonforce. I don't have any of the albums, I just borrowed them from my guy friends. Is it just me, or are there not enough girls who share the same intrests that we do?-hawk

I know! I got my Dragonforce songs from my brother. I asked some dark emo girls at my school and they said even they didn't like Dragonforce.--Kystra

Gasp! I went to a fourth of july party and the father at the house said the Dragonforce "sounded like a bad video game theme song"! He heard them at Ozzfest, and he has swords and shuriken in his shed! How can someone so cool be so ignorent!-hawk

I know! My grandpa, who is as active as and looks about 45, owns many sword, knifes, and daggars, PLUS he is a blacksmith!!! He makes swords!!!!!!! I wanna get a sword from him, but he wouldn't exept money from family, but he wont make a sword for free!!!!! And yet, his job was not in blacksmithing, but in the teachers union! I mean, FTW??--Kystra
