Part two of our exclusive interview with Christopher Paolini from Comic-Con International has finally arrived! We sat down with Christopher and threw nearly every good question we received in an over-thirty-five-minute interview. The interview has been broken into three parts and we are excited to share part two with you now. Part one created quite the level of buzz with Christopher Paolini's revelation that Eragon is currently being held captive, restrained by manacles, by an unknown enemy in the Book 4 manscript. The interview continues to not disappoint in a very revealing part two! This portion of our interview touches on a number of interesting subjects: the deaths of Oromis and Glaedr, the presumed deaths of the original Eragon and his dragon, confirmation Arya's training from Oromis, Du Weldenvarden's anti-scrying wards, dragon eggs and their destined Riders, details on a could-have-been bond between Murtagh and Saphira, green egg shell fragments, Alagaesia's physical size, heart of hearts hive minds and email, phantoms, the dragon thief, lifespan of an Urgal, dragon shades, and more! Eragon in Book 4: Tortured? Dying?
Written by Mike Macauley at 6:20 pm 339 Comments
Christopher Paolini threw quite the curve-ball our way during interviews, panels, and chats at Comic-Con. Those of you who have already listened to part one of our Comic-Con Interview with Christopher Paolini will know that a very interesting fact from Book 4 was shared during the interview: Christopher left off writing Book 4 to head for Comic-Con at a point where Eragon was hanging bloodied from manacles and killed a character. However, the instance in which this was brought up during the interview was brief and incomplete. Many people have asked us how we knew this and what it means... so we'd like to share that with you! Keep reading! Continue reading...

The Inheritance Almanac: An "Insider Story"!
Written by Mike Macauley at 7:25 pm 8 Comments
With us being stuck at Comic-Con for the next few days and busier than ever, it's tough to share the story of "The Inheritance Almanac". However, Shawn Speakman, webmaster for Terry Brooks (and other authors) and blogger on Suvudu.com made a great blog post about The Inheritance Almanac and some of how it came to be. It's a fun read -- we definitely recommend it! Additionally, Suvudu is doing some great exclusive coverage at Comic-Con; check it out! Read more exclusive details about The Inheritance Almanac over at Suvudu!

I've been keeping this project a secret for nearly two years now and I'm truly excited and honored to be able to finally share it with you all!

The book is being published by Random House, the same publisher as the Inheritance cycle, whom I had the incredible privilege of working with during the creation of the book. I'll have much more to say about the project in the coming days, but for now, enjoy the cover! The book is set to release on October 26th, 2010.
